Quick to Listen, Slow to Anger (Quick and Slow)

Ever had one of those moments where you react way too fast… only to realize you totally misread the situation? This week’s episode dives into those quick‑to‑anger, slow‑to‑listen slip‑ups we all know too well—and how a little biblical wisdom can save the day.

This Week!

Monday Bible Story:

  • Moses was quick to anger and slow to listen to God, striking the rock.

Tuesday Key Verse:

  • James 1:19 – “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry”

Wednesday Prayer:

  • God, help me know when to be quick and when to be slow. Help me listen well before I say something. Help me understand first instead of getting mad first. In Jesus’s name, amen.

Thursday Question:

  • When was the last time you reacted quickly, only to realize later that you didn’t have the full story?

Friday Fun Fact:

  • Q: How well can you guess what someone is thinking?
  • A: Experts say only about 30% of the time and that’s with someone you know really well!
