John – Start With Jesus – John 1, 8, 14

John doesn’t ease us in gently—he opens his Gospel with poetry, theology, and the breathtaking claim that Jesus is the eternal Word who stepped into our world. As one of Jesus’s closest friends, he writes with the kind of awe that comes from being deeply loved and truly known. His whole purpose is to help us see Jesus clearly so we can decide what to do with that truth.
