You Are Worth It: No Comparison

We can feel worse about ourselves or better about ourselves when we compare ourselves to other people. But God wants us to do what He’s asked us to do, to be happy with what He’s given us, without comparing it to others.

This Week!

Monday Bible Story:

  • Paul writing to Galatia about not comparing. Jesus’s parable of the workers all getting paid the same amount, no matter what time of day they came.

Tuesday Key Verse:

  • Galatians 6:4 — “Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else.”

Wednesday Prayer:

  • Lord, forgive me when I’ve compared myself to someone else and it’s stolen my joy. Help me be happy with who You have made me to be and what You give me. Amen.

Thursday Question:

  • Who do you compare yourself to the most? Why? What is that comparison actually stealing from you?

Friday Fun Fact:

  • Q: What did researchers find that most people do a lot?
  • A: They compare themselves to other people!
