Quick to Apologize, Quick to Forgive, Slow to Blame (Quick and Slow)

I’m sorry you feel that way” isn’t an apology.

Sometimes the Lord uses even the smallest moments—like a kid in the backseat refusing to apologize—to remind me how hard it can be to say “I’m sorry,” and how much we all need grace.

This Week!

Monday Bible Story:

  • Jacob and Esau, Joseph and his brothers.

Tuesday Key Verse:

  • “…you remember that someone has something against you, leave your sacrifice there at the altar. Go and be reconciled to that person.” Matthew 5:23-24

Wednesday Prayer:

  • Father, help me say sorry quickly when I’m wrong. Help me fix what I did wrong instead of blaming someone else. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Thursday Question:

  • What’s one time you struggled to apologize or forgive, and what did it show you about your heart?

Friday Fun Fact:

  • Q: How many times a day do people apologize?
  • A: Researchers say that we apologize 8 or 9 times a day!
