Sometimes you need to be brave enough to be kind.
This Week!
Monday Bible Story:
- When we talk about being brave, we often think about being brave to go into a battle or to ride that huge rollercoaster or to jump with a parachute. But being brave enough is also in quiet things, like being the person who is kind to someone everyone else is ignoring or being mean to. Ruth in the Bible shows us what it means to be brave enough to be kind.
Tuesday Key Verse:
- Proverbs 3:3 — “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.”
Wednesday Prayer:
- Father, make me brave enough to be kind, even when it costs me something. In then name of Jesus, amen.
Thursday Question:
- When was the last time being kind to someone actually cost you something? Was it worth it?
Friday Fun Fact:
- Q: What happens in your brain when you are kind to someone, when you do something kind for another person?
- A: Your brain gets a little reward, a little gift of feeling good!
