In studying Psalm 40, we see how God lifts us from the mire of sin—addictions and struggles that try to control us. We must choose to serve either sin or Jesus. True change comes from a heart transformed by encountering Christ. His love heals our pain, and His truth brings clarity. Through prayer, worship, Scripture, and the Holy Spirit, God empowers us and calls us to build habits that keep us walking in the light.
