Whether you have a backyard garden, a few houseplants, or can barely keep a pothos alive, there’s something deeply satisfying about watching things grow. It’s no surprise, then, that Scripture so often uses gardens, vineyards, fields, and trees to describe God’s people. It’s a reminder that spiritual growth takes time, requires care, and ultimately depends on God, the one who makes every good thing flourish.
