Samuel, Saul and David – Called and Sent – 1 Samuel 15-16

Have you ever been completely certain you knew what was best, only to discover later that God had a different plan? We naturally judge by what we can see, but God has a way of looking far deeper than appearances, accomplishments, or first impressions.

As Saul’s failures lead to David’s calling, we’re reminded that God’s choices often surprise us. While people focus on outward success, God sees the heart. Trust God’s wisdom, especially when His plans don’t look like what we expected.
