There’s something about first words that makes us lean in—whether it’s a toddler saying “tweezles” or a little voice calling from another room asking if you’re Alexa. But this week, we’re looking at a different kind of first word: the moment the risen Jesus spoke Mary’s name at the tomb, tenderly and intentionally. It’s a reminder that the same God who met her in her confusion and grief meets us too—seen, known, and called by name.
