Working in radio and television, finishing college classes, and planning a wedding… It was a lot. I’ve learned a lot from years of being really busy, and discovered how important it is to make time to rest, no matter how busy it is. Jesus also gives us examples in the Bible when He took time to rest… Even in the midst of chaos!

- Jesus was able to fall asleep during a storm. He was able to rest right in the middle of a big challenge!
Tuesday Key Verse:
- Exodus 14:14 – The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.
Wednesday Prayer:
- God, help me to rest when I need to. Remind me that You are the One who helps me do what I need to do and that You are the One who watches over me. In the name of Jesus, amen.
Thursday Question:
- What’s your favorite way to rest? Take a nap, read a book, go for a walk?
Friday Fun Fact:
- Q: How many people say they have a hard time taking a break?
- A: About 36% of people say remembering to rest is hard for them!
