When To Quit (FINISHING STRONG)

We’re starting a new series called “Finishing Strong,” and finishing strong sometimes means recognizing the right time to end a pursuit and move on to new opportunities.

This Week!

Monday Bible Story:

  • Paul had goals about where he wanted to go and where he wanted to work. And then came a ship wreck. He had to quit thinking about what he had wanted to happen and instead focused on what he could do right in front of him.

Tuesday Key Verse:

  • Ecclesiastes 3:1 – There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens

Wednesday Prayer:

  • Father, help me to know when to stop doing something that isn’t the best for me. In Jesus’s name, amen.

Thursday Question:

  • What is something you are glad you stopped doing?

Friday Fun Fact:

  • Q: Where does our word ‘quit come from?
  • A: It’s from a Latin word that means ‘free’ or ‘at rest’.
