God on the Go: WHAT IS PEACE? What Should I Do When I Can’t Seem to Feel Peace?

We’re exploring peace this week! Did you know that true peace, provided by God, can exist even in the middle of challenges? That goes against the idea that peace is only possible in the absence of problems. Trusting that God is in control and His plan is always perfect will help you find peace.

This Week!

Monday Story:

  • Some people thing peace means that there isn’t any conflict. But the peace God has for us is different. It means we know God is for us and that we will be with Him. Peace and happiness are different. Joseph had peace, he stayed confident that God was taking care of him.

Tuesday Key Verse:

  • Philippians 4:6: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Wednesday Prayer:

  • God, help me remember that sometimes I might feel peaceful, sometimes I might not, but You care about me and love me. In Jesus’s name, amen.

Thursday Question:

  • How do you think peace from God is different than how people sometimes talk about peace?

Friday Fun Fact:

  • Q: How often do people pray to feel peace?
  • A: Research shows that 37% of the time when people pray, they pray to feel peace.
