God on the Go: FOOTNOTES: Joanna

We are in a new series called “Footnotes”, and it’s about taking a look at people in the Bible who don’t always get the spotlight. Don’t always get the big notice, but who did some amazing and important things when it comes to the story of believing God and believing Jesus. Today we’re going to talk about what it means to be a messenger!

This Week!

Monday Story:

  • Joanna simply shared what she saw, that Jesus had been raised from the dead.

Tuesday Key Verse:

  • Luke 24: 9-10 – When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others. 10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the others with them who told this to the apostles.

Wednesday Prayer:

  • God, thank you for letting me know the story of your love and your son Jesus. Help me to be a loving messenger of you and help me not get caught up in fighting about you. In Jesus’s name, amen.

Thursday Question:

  • When was a time that you tried to convince someone about something? How did it go?

Friday Fun Fact:

  • Q: What is the average number of text messages a person gets a day?
  • A: 32
