This Week!
Monday Story:
- When I moved to Utah during the last part of my junior year, I was something of a minor celebrity for a hot minute because very few people moved into my new high school. David and Jonathan’s friendship didn’t get distracted by all the challenges around them. Are there times we need to let go of an old friendship that is a bad influence on us? Yes. But is there value in honoring and caring about our friends, even when someone shinier comes along?
Tuesday Key Verse:
- Proverbs 18:24 – Friends come and friends go, but a true friend sticks by you like family.
Wednesday Prayer:
- God, help me to be a good friend, a faithful friend, not someone who runs after who is most popular or new. In the name of Jesus, amen.
Thursday Question:
- Who do you consider your oldest friend?
Friday Fun Fact:
- Q: When do most of our important friendships begin?
- A: Research shows that 50% of our friendships begin when we’re between the ages of 5-10.
