Sherri Lynn:

Hey there. I’m Sherry Lynn, host of the podcast Snacks and Good Company. Season two is coming up and we’re tackling a very scary topic, being single in the church.

Speaker 2:

At church. When you reach a certain age, it’s no longer that God will ding you the right person, or he’s just waiting for you. No, it’s let me pray for you. That’s what I’ve gotten.

Speaker 3:

Speaker 4:

I would say I used to be even more discontent and definitely thinking that there was something wrong with me. I’m in this unique situation where I have never dated either, and so there’s just that sense of “What is wrong with me? Why am I different?” Because it is something that I thought I wanted

Speaker 5:

With Jesus, He redefined who our ultimate family is. Where we ultimately belong. My ultimate belonging is in the family of God.

Sherri Lynn:

It’s raw, it’s real, and you know what? It’s actually joyful. Let me ask this, y’all. Is it the Hallmark movies? It’s Hallmark jamming you up, ain’t it? Oh, Satan is so slick, so slick with the Hallmark. That’s the devil. I knew it was him. That’s why I won’t let him in. I won’t let… Talking about singleness in a raw, real, and joyful way. If you think that can’t be done, watch us Snacks and Good Company. Go subscribe right now so you don’t miss an episode. It’s going to be epic.
