We encounter the Word by reading it, listening to it (like you do here), meditating on it, and memorizing it. And there are many ways to read it, many questions you can ask, notes you can take alongside your reading, and more. One contemplative method of reading the Bible is called lectio divina, or “divine reading”, and that’s what we’re doing this week.
