God on the Go: Distractions – With Our Time

We’re weaving personal stories and biblical parables this week regarding the art of time management. Time is one of the most precious gifts from God and we can learn to use it wisely.

This Week!

Monday Story:

  • Where does the time go? I love to read and would hang a mirror from my canopy bed to reflect off the street lamp outside so I could read at night. Parable of the 10 virgins.

Tuesday Key Verse:

  • Psalm 90:12 – Teach us to number our days so we can have a wise heart.

Wednesday Prayer:

  • God, thank you for the time you have given me. Help me use it wisely. In the name of Jesus, amen.

Thursday Question:

  • What is something you love to do that makes you lost track of time?

Friday Fun Fact:

  • Q: What was the first clock invented?
  • A: The Egyptians used sun dials and water clocks almost 3000 years ago.
