The 12

Purposely Equipped: The 12

God wants to use each of us for his glory, regardless of our past. In this new series we are joined by area pastors to look at the lives of the twelve disciples. Well, technically 10 or the 12 since we don’t know much about James (the son of Alphaeus and Thaddeus. But, the important question is why did Jesus choose these ordinary men to carry on his message and change the world? How does looking at their lives help us understand our own? As you get to know these disciples, our hope is that you are reminded of all God can accomplish through your life.

Have you ever wondered what resurrection really means? If you look it up in the dictionary is says the act of restoring what was once dead to life. Being restored to life.

1 Corinthians 15:20-23 tells us “Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died. So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life.”

Why is the resurrection important? Why do we care about Jesus coming back from the dead? How can you share this incredible news with those around you? Experience Resurrection is a 5-podcast series designed to help you with those questions! We partnered with pastors to dig deep as we all seek to grow our faith.
